Super Pet Expo in Edison
- see all dates
Super Pet Expo is a great way to extend the excitement of the holidays, especially for the kids and their four-legged companions. Now in its 25th year at the New Jersey Convention Center, the Expo promises a pack of new features, more opportunities than ever for pet participation, and photo ops galore.
Guests have the chance to audition their pets for roles on TV, film and commercials, watch their dog compete in a derby race or frolic in the puppy playground or in a pit filled with thousands of balls. The popular lure course returns, where pooches get exercise chasing a faux rabbit around a course.
Visitors can also get a free paw print of their pet and get them microchipped for $25. Reptile lovers will learn from experts at a showcase of hundreds of reptiles at Repticon’s 13th year at Super Pet Expo.
On Saturday they can meet Magnolia Harter, 13, a subject of DOGTV’s documentary, “Magnolia Bakes a Difference.” She raises money for The Animal Cancer Foundation by baking dog treats—Crosby’s Crunchies—in memory of Crosby dog whom she lost to cancer.
Tickets are valid for re-entry all three days. Some events require additional fees. Kids under 4 are free.
