Children's Day Festival - Joyful Journeys
Have a magical celebration of Turkish Children’s Day with joy, culture and creativity!
April 23rd marks the first Children’s Day in the world, declared by Türkiye, and is celebrated as a symbol of peace, hope, and unity by children who are the hope of a home and the promise of the future.
In honor of this special day, the Yunus Emre Institute is delighted to host a joyful and culturally enriching event, featuring traditional Turkish shadow theater and interactive activities for children.
This special program aims to bring the magic of Karagöz & Hacivat to life, while engaging children in hands-on workshops and fun entertainment that reflects the beauty of Turkish arts and heritage. Through storytelling, puppetry, creativity, and play, children will explore Turkish culture in an engaging, educational, and memorable way.
