Storm Drain Marking with Green Philly & PDE!

Help Keep Our Waterways Clean: Storm Drain Marking Volunteer Event
Join us for a fun and impactful volunteer event as we mark the Olde Richmond neighborhood storm drains! Many people don’t realize that storm drains flow directly into local waterways—meaning litter, chemicals, and pet waste can end up in the same rivers we rely on for drinking water, fishing, and recreation. By adding educational markers to storm drains, we’re helping spread awareness and prevent pollution right at the source.
This volunteer event is in partnership with the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary - all supplies will be provided, and no experience is needed! Grab some friends, learn more about stormwater pollution, and make a difference in your community. Sign up today and help keep Philly’s water clean! Please note that volunteers and guardians for participants under 18 will be required to sign waivers.
Rain date: April 10th. Please check your email and/or social media in case weather is uncertain.
