World Water Day is an internationally observed celebration of fresh water, focusing on glacier preservation. The event brings together environmental advocates, educators, and community members for a fun, engaging, and informative experience.

Highlights:

  • Exhibits and Demonstrations – Learn about the latest in water conservation, renewable energy, and eco-friendly practices from industry leaders and innovators including Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory, PolyGone Systems and Princeton University’s High Meadows Environmental Institute Integrated Ground Water Modeling Center.
  • Interactive Activities – Participate in hands-on activities and demonstrations designed to educate and inspire individuals of all ages. Engage with Watershed educators to learn more about the water cycle. Try a blind taste test of local waters and vote for your favorite. Take a walk to the vernal pools to see a fascinating habitat.
  • Community Engagement — Learn how you can make your home and community river friendly. Connect with local organizations who are helping to protect water resources. World Water Day is an initiative of the UN and serves as a global reminder of the vital role that water plays in our daily lives and the urgent need to protect it.
