605 All-Star Band Practice Parade
How do you get to the Rose Parade? Practice, practice, practice!
The 605 All-Star Band is practicing for this year's Rose Parade, and locals can use the opportunity to cheer them on as they march and perform. Spectators should bring a lawn chair and find a spot along the route to watch.
The band is covering a nearly four-mile practice parade route which begins at Ron Yary Stadium in Bellflower and finishes at Mayfair Park.
About the band: Over 500 students from Artesia, Bellflower, Cerritos, John Glenn, Gahr, La Mirada, Mayfair and Norwalk high school bands come together as the 605 All-Star Band, representing three school districts along the 605 Freeway (ABC, Bellflower and Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School Districts). They will be one of the largest bands to play and march in the Rose Parade.
Locals should also note that there will be street closures starting at 11:30am on the day of the practice.
