Creative 3D Design: Teen Saturdays Workshop
Unleash a world of creativity with Open Brush, a 3D painting tool. Participants will design a virtual painting using various “brushes,” including stars, light, and fire. Open Brush allows for interactive elements, making each sketch an immersive virtual reality experience.
Advance registration required by Friday, October 4 Register
Museum educators will introduce teens to virtual reality apps using Oculus headsets and other 3D media to explore this ancient wonder. Through activities, teens will compare this mode of learning to others to see which they like best.
Teen Saturdays workshops are designed to build community and improve the museum experience for multicultural and Spanish-speaking teens. Workshops are presented bilingually in Spanish and English. Snacks provided! $10 fee includes free admission to all HMSC museums following the workshop.
Teens receive a membership worth $100 after attending three or more 2024 fall semester Teen Saturday Workshops. Or, receive a free admission pass (worth $15) for a return visit if you attend one of the four sessions.
