The Cayton Children’s Museum celebrated its 5th birthday on July 1. To commemorate the milestone, the Cayton hosts its own birthday party the weekend of July 13 and 14, with additional activities happening all month long.

Visitors, members, and supporters are welcome for the two-day birthday celebration, which features birthday-related art projects and activities, including a Birthday Bubble Dance Party, face painting, and birthday cake sensory bins. All visitors leave with a special goody bag as a thank-you for being a part of the Cayton community over the past five years, while supplies last.

Apart from a weekend-long party, the Cayton is inviting the local community to celebrate the big “5” throughout July with other exciting activities like a Balloon Bash, make-your-own birthday cake using recycled materials, a museum-wide scavenger hunt, and a special edition of “Chalk-it-Up” with guest artist, Melanie Olivas.
