On Site Opera, New York’s pioneering opera company rooted in site-specific storytelling and the immersive experience, returns to the West Side Community Garden for three evenings of free outdoor concert performances.

June 19 at 6pm
JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION
Curated by Grammy-winning singer Kenneth Overton, the Juneteenth Celebration concert features a selection of arias and art songs showcasing some of opera’s most important Black composers and librettists, and their rich legacy in New York City.
June 26 at 6pm
LA TRAVIATA
Enjoy excerpts from Verdi and Piave’s beloved opera, La Traviata, with performers wandering among the garden singing some of opera’s most iconic music.
July 10 at 6pm
OPERA FAIRY TALES
This celebration of operas inspired by beloved fairy tales will feature songs from Hansel and Gretel, Cinderella, and Rusalka (inspired by The Little Mermaid). Feel free to wear your favorite fairy tale costume!
Walk ups are welcome as space allows, but best to register for tickets online in advance. Seating is first come, first served.
