MakeFest: Make it Grow at the CT Science Center
Join the Connecticut Science Center for a day celebrating the bounty of Connecticut’s soil and the ingenuity of its people. They are bringing together a vibrant community of local gardeners, farmers, makers, and artisans, each showcasing the best of what it means to grow healthy, smart, green, and local. Immerse yourself in a world of fascinating on-site demonstrations, eye-opening displays, and hands-on activities that promise to enlighten and entertain.
In addition, our famous Plaza Plant Sale, open to the public, returns for a fourth year, bursting with various native and sustainable plants, fruits, and vegetables that you can take home at incredibly affordable prices.
Plaza Plant Sale:
Open to the public. The huge plant sale will feature various native and sustainable plants at affordable prices. Explore our beautiful gardens on our plaza for inspiration and receive expert advice from some Connecticut Master Gardeners who will be on hand to help and answer questions. Various plants will be available to take home so you can start a new garden or build up your existing one.
