Hint of History: Galactic Trailblazers
Houston, we have history! Join the Orange Country Regional History Center this month to recognize Black Americans who have contributed to America’s space journey.
The History Center’s monthly Hint of History drop-in sessions allow families to customize their learning experience and participate in activities at their own pace. As your family explores the museum, you will find a learning opportunity geared toward that month’s theme on each floor, including a mock trial in a historic 1927 courtroom. (Note that mock trials are planned pending participant availability.)
These monthly sessions offer a range of diverse topics in Central Florida history to help families supplement their studies with interactive and engaging activities. This program is geared towards children ages 5 to 11 years old and is ideal for homeschool students and non-traditional classrooms, but all ages and families are welcome to join in on the fun and learning.
You can register online for a discounted price or pay upon arrival. Every family member will receive an activity guidebook and a collectable bracelet that allows you to access all that the Hint of History program has to offer!
Students: $8 online, $10 at the door
Adults: $2 (History Center Members free)
Children 4 and younger: Free
