Trick-or-Treat in the Garden
Dress your little ones up in their Halloween costumes and come trick-or-treat in the arboretum garden to learn about the “spookier” side of nature! While searching for trick-or-treat stations, children will discover fun facts about the plants at each destination and receive a nature-based treat when they reach them.
Stop and visit the friendly resident hissing cockroaches, earthworms, snakes, bearded dragon, and carnivorous plants at tables along the way and learn about how these amazing creatures are far more fabulous than frightening.
Each family will receive a map of the trick or treat route with educational information about the stations, and each registered child will receive a bag to collect their treats in.
Ticketed entries to the trick-or-treat route are every half hour between 4pm and 7pm.
Event concludes at 8pm.
Guests are required to bring a flashlight along.
