Black Music Month Celebration Concert (BMMCC) honors the power of music crafted from the souls of Black folks with community, music, art, and more. The theme is the 80s and 90s featuring an epic dance battle.
The event is inspired by the “Breathe Life Together” mural by Robert “ProBlak” Gibbs as an ode to Boston and Hip Hop. Hosted by Veteran Rapper & Teacher Akrobatik featuring SharlaFabulous, CusCampbell, ILL Neil. There will be a dance battle, 50th Anniversary of Hip Hop Cypher as well as an Afterdark Artist Reception with DJs Andres and Basi B.
