Drawing Our Animal Neighbors
- see all dates
The animals in urban habitats are often active when at night. Check out the animals lurking near the Boston Nature Center and then make drawings of them.
Motion sensor trail cameras can take pictures of animals that can be hard to see in person, such as coyotes, opossums, and skunks. Teacher Peter Byerly will teach kids how to draw pictures of the animals they see.
The course will last 2 hours. Materials will be provided. Open to all levels. Registration is required.
Peter is an architect, now living in Dorchester Lower Mills. He has lived in either Boston/Cambridge since 1978 and has taught drawing and design courses over the years at Boston Architectural College, Mount Ida College, Nantucket Island School of Design and Arts, and The Boys and Girls Club of Dorchester.
