The businesses of Santa Monica's Main Street host an evening of holiday fun for the whole family. The festivities start at the lawn of the California Heritage Museum with crafts and activities for kids, and the lighting of the tree. Festivities then move to Edgemar, where the iconic Shopping Cart Tree is lit. 

Santa Claus greets kids and poses for photos (bring your own camera).

3pm: Kids Korner on the California Heritage Museum Lawn, with free face painting and a musical story time

4pm: Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus arrive in a festive fire truck

5:30pm:  Tree Lighting countdown and performance by Off the Jingle Bell Rockers

6pm:  Street-wide holiday parties hosted by local businesses​
