There are so many animals in Los Angeles County, and these fun nights hosted by local nature centers help to introduce kids to all of them. 

Nature Knowledge Nights are free, hour-long events with group activities, ESTEAM fundamentals, nature hikes, guided tours, animal ambassador experiences, and community science projects.

Events vary based on location, but always include an evening of educational fun. 

 San Dimas Canyon Nature Center Nature Knowledge Nights take place on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Registration is not required, just show up.

Most of these activities take place outside, so make sure to dress warmly for the evenings and wear comfortable shoes in case hiking is involved.
