The CT Folk Fest & Green Expo presents the annual festival at New Haven’s beautiful Edgerton Park in New Haven. This year, CT Folk has expanded to TWO days, TWO stages. The Green Expo highlights over 75 exhibitors that include handmade artisans and exhibitors with innovative ideas and products for sustainable living. For all families, the Green Kids Village offers all-day workshops including yoga and hula hooping sessions, hands-on projects with EcoWorks, Eli Whitney Museum, Massaro Community Farm and entertainment including Liz McNicholl, Cyril the Sorceror,Infinite Roots Drumming and more.
CT Folk unveils a lineup that celebrates the best in folk music and beyond. 2022 includes headliners Valerie June with direct support The Alpaca Gnomes on Saturday and Oliver Wood with direct support Kaia Kater on Sunday. This diverse lineup delivers something for everyone with Raye Zaragoza, Buffalo Rose, Vance Gilbert, Goodnight Moonshine, Stephen Peter Rodgers, Kuf Knotz & Christine Elise, Jonah Tolchin, Latin Americana, Sarah King, Emery Major, Manny James, w/ special guests ACES Educational Center for the Arts choir rounding out both days.
In its 29th year, The CT Folk Fest & Green Expo has organically grown into Connecticut’s leading folk festivals as well as presenting the largest Green Expo in the state. The festival’s mixture of arts, cuisine and culture proves there is something for everyone.
