The Dinosaurs: Fossils Exposed exhibit invites LICM guests to explore the bones and fossils of iconic giants like the towering T-Rex and the majestic Triceratops.
Visitors will have the chance to see and even touch six full dinosaur skeletal molds, along with additional molds of skulls, arms, legs, eggs, footprints, and even the femur of one of the largest land animals.
What to Expect:
- Dig Like a Paleontologist: Use real paleontologist tools to uncover dinosaur bones at our dig site. Learn how fossils are discovered and what they tell us about the past!
- Meet the Dinosaurs: Get up close to full-size replicas of dinosaurs, from the powerful Triceratops to the speedy Velociraptor. Discover fun facts about their habits and habitats!
- Examine Real Fossils: Look at preserved dinosaur bones, footprints, and fossilized eggs. Learn how these fossils help scientists understand how dinosaurs lived.
- Dino Dimensions: Compare your height to the impressive 6’ 1” femur bone of an Apatosaurus (Brontosaurus). Discover what it was like to be one of the largest land animals!
