Saban Community Clinic - Flu Vaccine Drive-Up
Saban Community Clinic hosts a flu vaccine drive for the community, as flu season begins and the world still grapples with COVID-19. This year, it is more important than ever to get a flu shot as a precautionary measure. According to the CDC, an annual flu vaccination is recommended for everyone 6 months of age and older.
Throughout the day, families can enjoy giveaways featuring Sparky, the official mascot for the Los Angeles Sparks, music, balloons, and guest appearances, all from the safety of their cars.
Families can drive up for their vaccination and can remain in their vehicle in the designated parking spots. (Walk-ups also are permitted, as well as walk-ins to the clinic later in the day.) Medical staff or enrollment specialists approach the vehicles to gather necessary information and administer vaccinations.
Even those with no insurance can enroll and get their vaccinations through Saban Community Clinic. If a family needs health insurance, onsite enrollment specialists can ensure the child receives the care they need.
