The Alvin Ailey Experience workshop is holding special classes with instructors and company members of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.

The workshop is part of Mr. Ailey's commitment to sharing dance with the world. Participants will learn the history of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater signature style and how this impacted the perception of American modern dance. The classes will have live accompanists and a study of the Ailey classics Revelations, Blues Suite and Night Creature featuring the blues, gospel, traditional spirituals and jazz that are Ailey hallmarks.

No dance experience necessary and all levels are welcome!
