Children ages 5 – 12 are invited to show off their favorite animals in the annual Kids' Pet Parade.

Entrants compete in six categories; winners are invited to march together in the Swallows Day Parade on March 22.

Awards are given for:

• Best Team Costume (owner and pet)
• Best Domestic/Household Pet
• Best Exotic Pet
• Best Barnyard/Farm Animal
• Best Bird

There is also a category of Kid At Heart (for seniors and their beloved pets).

Sign-up starts at 10am, with the parade stepping off at 11:30am. Judging follows the parade. 

All pets must be leashed, haltered, or caged, and an adult must accompany children.

There is no cost to enter. Participants can bring a completed application with them or sign up on site.
