Carolyn Sloan, author of Welcome to the Symphony, visits Children's Book World with her newest book Welcome to Jazz. Carolyn reads from the book and performs with The Big Lucky Band in an interactive jazz concert for kids and families.

The book highlights where jazz comes from, what it is and just how much fun it is to play, scat and sing jazz. Kids can see and hear the instruments up close including a double bass, trumpet, trombone, clarinet, saxophone and drum set. It's going to be a party - a jazz party!
