This annual holiday fun run is for the entire family. Participants can run or walk, and strollers are welcome. There is a costume contest for the best Thanksgiving costume. 

This event is open to all participants - competitive runners, joggers and walkers as a great annual tradition for all families and friends.

And don't forget - Free Starbucks Coffee, Hot Chocolate and donuts from Sanford's own Donuts To Go. 

Turkey Day 5K In Person Costume Contest:
Come dressed in your favorite and most unique Thanksgiving Day costume.  Be sure to arrive early so that judges can select finalists by 7:35am. At 7:40am, the finalists gather by the starting corral where all of the participants in the race will vote by loudest applause for the overall winner. The winner of the costume contest will received a $100 Visa gift card.  This contest is open to all registered participants with a race bib.
