How I Saved Hanukkah
- see all dates
Marla Feinstein, the only Jewish kid in her fourth grade class, knows what the holiday season is like for everyone else: decorating a tree and hanging stockings. For her, it's forgetting to light candles and staring at a big plastic dreidel.
But when Marla decides to learn what Hanukkah traditions are really about, things change fast. Soon she's got her family turning latkes into Hanukkah Performance Art and doing a wild hora.
Based on the book by Amy Goldman Koss, this intimate theater experience is appropriate for children ages 3 to 10 and their families.
Tickets are free but must be reserved in advance using the BrownPaperTickets link.
Performances are at 4pm & 5:30pm. Run time is approximately 35 minutes.
On December 22, the audience is invited to stay after the 5:30pm show to light the candles and play a few rounds of dreidl.
House opens 10 minutes prior to showtime. Please note that there is no room for strollers inside the lobby or theater.
