Dog owners and dog lovers alike are invited to Barktoberst, a special Yappy Hour celebration in partnership with Downtown Magazine.

Held for the first time at Pier 57’s Rooftop Park—one of NYC’s largest public rooftop parks, sprawling nearly two acres with panoramic waterfront views—Barkfest centers on a fur-tastic costume contest with special prizes for the best-dressed pups. Prizes are awarded for first, second, and third places for best costume, and individual prizes are given for the original/ creative, best pop culture, and best group theme categories.
