Michele Wiles’ BalletNext presents the debut of a crop of new dancers, hand-picked from the University of Utah’s professional ballet program, where Wiles is currently a Visiting Professor. These stars-in-the-making join Wiles and principal guest artists Amar Ramasar, Maria Kowroski and others to perform three new ballets by Wiles set to live music performed by classical pianist Dr. Vedrana Subotic and soprano Elizabeth Pojanowski. Also on the boards is a world premiere to a commissioned score by Wiles’ ongoing collaborator, master jazz trumpeter Tom Harrell.
