Bark in the Park Grand Opening at Sands Point Preserve
Bring your dogs to the new dog run at Sands Point Preserve!
Leslie's Leashes, a Port Washington-based dog walking and pet sitting company, is sponsoring the ‘Bark in the Park’ benefit for the Town of North Hempstead Animal Shelter and The Shelter Connection. All dog items, food, treats, or money donations will be accepted.
Dog owners are always welcome to bring their four-legged friends to the Sands Point Preserve, provided the dogs are kept on a leash at all times. The new dog run enclosure will provide safe, separate spaces for large dogs and small dogs to play and socialize off leash, with owners closely supervising their dogs.
Besides fun, Bark in the Park is also an opportunity to give back to the local animal community through donations to The Shelter Connection and The Town of North Hempstead Shelter.
Rain Date: Oct. 13
