Autism-Friendly Show at Blue Man Group Boston
Blue Man Group Boston staff worked closely with the New England chapter of Autism Speaks to make slight modifications for the autism-friendly performance including adjusting sound and light levels at various moments.
Blue Men will keep their approach to the audience more subdued and limit the amount of direct interaction with the audience. Foam earplugs are also available upon request.
Blue Man Group Boston has also partnered with Yogibo to provide a comfortable lounge area in the Charles Playhouse for families seeking a break from the excitement.
Tickets are discounted for this show and are $30, $40 and $50 with $5 from every ticket benefiting Autism Speaks. In addition, Blue Man Group Boston will also be collecting donations for Autism Speaks during the month of October.
