The Story Pirates launch kids into... sleep.

The  sketch comedy troupe launches Sleep Squad, a family-friendly, interactive virtual theater experience that turns the viewer’s home into a rocket ship launching kids into dreamland. This world premiere on-demand production offers a new kind of bedtime ritual for kids ages 4 to 12.

Sleep Squad stars Tony Award Nominee Lilli Cooper (SpongeBob SquarePants, Tootsie) as the Dream Queen, who invites kids to the Sleep Squad in an introductory video, and then guides adventurers through three different enchanting audio experiences, adapted in classic Story Pirates fashion from stories written by real kids, including a visit to a desert island, a dinosaur’s birthday party, and an intergalactic nightclub.

Purchasers determine their personal start date and time, and then have 10 days to experience the show. The first start date is November 19, 2020; tickets are available for purchase now. 

General family passes to the show are $35. The $50 ticket comes with a “Dreamtime Travel Kit” which is delivered to each family’s home address 3 to 7 days prior to the performance date chosen. The items within this secret kit include a dream journal, “sleep goggle” mask and star machine. Sleep Squad concludes with soothing music that will help lull adventurers to sleep.
