Families can gather in the comfort of their own homes to salute Gen. Washington with an online program featuring performances and stories from actors, musicians, and historians.

A highlight of the celebration includes a birthday toast delivered to General Washington.

To join the National Virtual Birthday Celebration for George Washington's 289th birthday, make a donation of $5 or more.

Proceeds from this event support the restoration and preservation of Mount Vernon, George Washington's historic estate.
