In conjunction with Black Citizenship in the Age of Jim Crow, meet Living Historians portraying activists and famous figures from the Reconstruction and Jim Crow eras demonstrating their rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Get to know pioneering figures like Harriet Tubman, Ida B. Wells, and Madam C.J. Walker and learn about African American schools during the late 1800s.
