Wildman Steve Brill Foraging Tour of Central Park

Wildman Steve Brill leads a fall foraging tour of Central Park, beginning at West 72nd Street and Central Park West. Herbs, greens, nuts, berries, and mushrooms will all be in season simultaneously.
American persimmons, much tastier than the larger Asian species, should be falling from trees east of The Ramble.
The four-hour foraging tour of Central Park begins just inside the park, at 72nd St. and Central Park West, not on the East Side.
Register online in advance. Masks and social distancing are required.
Note: While we are trying to promote safer activities that occur outdoors or with social distancing guidelines in place, please keep your family and others safe by always wearing a mask and maintaining appropriate distance. If you arrive at an event that appears too crowded, try using the “nearby” search feature on our event calendar to find something else to do.
