The Little Orchestra Society: Life Doesn’t Frighten Me
The Brooklyn Children's Museum presents a musical storytelling of "Life Doesn’t Frighten Me,” a poem by Maya Angelou, illustrated by Jean-Michel Basquiat, performed by The Little Orchestra Society.
Angelou's poem celebrates the courage within each of us, focusing on the power of faith in ourselves to face adversity and fear, while Basquiat's illustrations reveal the powerful emotions and imaginings of childhood.
Sessions at 3pm & 5:30pm.
Purchase tickets in advance, online. All visitors ages 3 and up must wear masks.
Note: While we are trying to promote safer activities that occur outdoors or with social distancing guidelines in place, please keep your family and others safe by always wearing a mask and maintaining appropriate distance. If you arrive at an event that appears too crowded, try using the “nearby” search feature on our event calendar to find something else to do.
