The 35th Annual New York Sword Dance Festival offers a weekend of free family-friendly performances of an ancient English folk tradition interpreted for a new generation.
Ten troupes converge on the city to delight viewers with acrobatic rapper sword dancing and mystical longsword dancing, all done to live music.
