Through a series of musical portraits, kids explore how orchestral music can become a catalyst for big ideas like freedom and humanity. What musical messages and ideals still resonate with us today and inspire us to fight for a brighter tomorrow?

Arrive early for YPC Overtures on the Leon and Norma Hess Grand Promenade and Hearst Tier 1, where kids can try out orchestral instruments and families can engage in crafting and interactive workshops. Activities begin at 1pm.
