Sheep Shearing Festival at the Queens County Farm Museum

Visit the farm on the Nassau-Queens border to see the sheep get their annual haircuts. Move to the foot-stomping rhythms of New Orleans-influenced Mama Juke, and enjoy farmer-led tours and a plant sale all day. 

Visit fiber arts stations for quick demos in wool spinning. Kids can learn to compost and Adopt-a-Worm at the Con Edison Ecology booth.

Advance purchase of timed tickets is required.
