New York Hall of Science Reopens
NYSci reopens its doors at last, refreshed and renovated over the past year, including a brand new exhibit: The Happiness Experiment. New art installations and classic favorites like Rocket Park mini golf await as well.
On Saturday, July 10 and Sunday, July 11, Rob Anderson, a Queens-based muralist, works with visitors between 12 noon and 4 PM to collaboratively paint three 6-foot long and 6-foot high murals on the fence along 111th Street. Participants receive a certificate for participating in the creation of this public artwork.
Visitors can also participate in design engineering activities, free workshops in NYSCI’s Maker Space, Rocket Park mini-golf, and dozens of other exhibits and experiences. Don't miss the bubly Bar, where visitors can enjoy complimentary servings of PepsiCo’s bubly sparkling water.
- Timed tickets are required for entry.
- For the safety of all guests, many of whom are under 12 years old and not yet eligible for vaccination, masks are required for all patrons at all times except when in the cafeteria.
