Clay Pit Ponds State Park Preserve, Nature Interpretive Center
Learn the process of making maple syrup from tap to table! Participants hike up to 1-mile to reach the maple trees for a tapping demonstration and to collect sap. Then head back to the Nature Center for a tasting.
Advance registration is required. Note that February 4 and 11 are already sold out.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Outdoor programs are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather, call for updates. Please dress appropriately by wearing hiking boots or sneakers, a winter coat, a hat, and gloves.
