Kids 3D Works: Recycled Found Object Art Fun
- see all dates
Roll up your sleeves and dive in! Use fabrics, threads, string, glitter, color papers, or recycled materials and toys to create fully realized 3D artwork designed around fun weekly themes and subjects. Learn how to construct 3D structures out of non-traditional materials to give your work a more unique flavor. Make a train out of used recycled MetroCards and NYC Subway Maps or restaurant menus.
Students will be encouraged to pick and choose their own materials to develop their own ideas. This is an engaging and exploratory art class, more about the creative journey than the end result that allows kids to express themselves freely using their own imagination.
Class is offered as single-day drop-ins or sign up for multi-week full course by selecting the start date from the registration calendar below.
Fridays 3:45pm-5:15pm | 1. 5 hrs
FULL COURSES OFFERED: JAN 7 - FEB 18 (7 weeks)
Fee includes all materials. Prior registration is required. Limited availability & safety restrictions apply. All students must sign a Class Waiver & Liability Form prior to arrival. Please check confirmation email for link to waiver after booking.
Masks are mandatory to fully cover nose and mouth and must not be removed during your session.
