Storytelling Illustration for Teens: Comic Book + Graphic Art Novel Art
- see all dates
How do you tell a story without words or very few words? Creatively Wild's engaging new class offers the opportunity for teens to participate in week-to-week drawing exercises; students develop an understanding of storytelling and how to use visual language tools.
Traditional storyboards involve a series of conceptual pencil sketches and drawings to tell a story as a graphic novel or as the foundation of storytelling for movies or animation. The key to storyboarding is the practice and understanding of how storytelling is excavated. In this course we will examine graphic novels, movies, TV series, or commercials and study each scene and draw them out. Look how camera angles help to tell a story and are cut up and told visually. This an excellent course for those interested in new media and how storytelling works with graphic novel, film and TV.
For Teens ages 12-17 yrs
Time: Mondays 4:30pm-6:30pm
