All are invited to February’s Small Explorers program, where participants will explore African American artists with a focus on Jacob Lawrence and Romaire Bearden.  Our story is “Jake Makes a World” by Sharifa Rhodes-Pitts. 

Visit the American Perspectives gallery to view “The Museum Lesson” by Jacob Lawrence and “Gramophone Years” by Romaire Bearden.  Then, head back to the STEAM Center for painting and collage projects.

This free program is designed for children 6 months to 5 years old and their caregiver. Space is limited, reservations are suggested.
