Venice Electric Light Parade
The Venice Electric Light parade of bicycles is back! Every Sunday at dusk, cyclists gather at Windward Plaza, to ride the neighborhood as a group, on festively lit bikes, promoting bike safety.
The luminous, occasionally neon, bikers ride through the streets just after sunset every week (unless it's raining) and make an eye-catching parade.
Families with kids are welcome, and those without enough light for their rides can supplement with a loan of some cool twinkly bits that the group always keeps on hand.
Bikes gather at 6:30, usually beginning the parade proper at 7:30.
Rain cancels. As with all recurring activities, we advise checking before leaving home to be sure that it's happening this week.
