Montrose Christmas Parade
Montrose celebrates the holidays with its 47th annual Christmas Parade.
This year's theme is “The Christmas Time Machine“.
Disney Legend Bob Gurr, one of Walt Disney’s original Imagineers, leads this year’s parade in the Glendale Fire Department’s classic “Mack” firetruck. Also motoring through the parade: the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile!
The parade staging starts at La Crescenta Ave & Honolulu Ave, the parade itself begins at 6:10pm, at Honolulu Ave & Rosemont Ave and runs east to Verdugo Rd. The center of the parade is the intersection of Honolulu Ave & Ocean View Blvd.
Parking is available in the open city parking lots, on the open side streets and within the surrounding neighborhoods. Please note Glendale Lots 1, 2, and 7 are closed and no parking as of 3pm. Early arrival advised. Parade watchers can set up chairs and a blanket on the day of the parade.
The parade is on rain or shine, (as of this writing, the forecast is shine!)
