No school? The LA Zoo wants to help fill your unexpected day off with an educational adventure. Students in Kindergarten through 12th grade who are currently enrolled at LAUSD schools can enter the zoo for free for the duration of the strike. 

Students must provide proof of enrollment such as a report card, student ID, or school newsletter. Accompanying chaperones will only have to pay $5. 

The zoo is also offering a comunity safari day for $50 per student. Space is limited, and online registration is required. Visit the zoo website for more info.
