The Academy Museum hosts a series of drag queen story hours this June hosted by Pickle, the director of Drag Story Hour Los Angeles. 

Pickle is joined by fellow drag artists for readings of: The Hips on the Drag Queen Go Swish, Swish, Swish by Lil Miss Hot Mess, Feminist Baby by Loryn Brantz, and It's Okay to Be Different by Todd Parr. 

Readings are held in the Academy Museum Store located on the first level.The program is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis.   A separate museum admission ticket is required to visit the galleries. Children 17 and under are free.
