Downey's annual Día de los Muertos Art Festival is held again on a Sunday, as it returns for its 11th year.

The festival includes activities for the whole family, including an arts & crafts station, Calaveras decorating, face painting, bilingual storytime, a puppet show, and chalk walk.

Other highlights include a Dia de los Muertos Art Gallery, live performances including traditional Folklorico dances, and Classic Car Altars.

Those who want to honor a loved one who has passed can submit an application to contribute to the Community Altar, (deadline October 25).
