Monterey Park's Cherry Blossom Festival celebrates its 25th year in 2025.

The festival is held in Barnes Park, offering attendees the chance to see, hear, and taste a bit of Japanese and Japanese American culture.

Performances include classical Japanese dancing, taiko drumming, and martial arts. Guests can participate in the ancient art of the tea ceremony, observe mochi making, learn about origami and ikebana, and shop for hand-made crafts. Other highlights of the festival include games and crafts for children, and numerous cultural displays. Food is available for purchase.
