The horses on Santa Monica Pier's iconic Carousel are turning 100.

In celebration of the horses' 100 spins around the sun, riders can enjoy 5 cent spins around the Carousel.

Five cents was the original price for a Carousel ride back when the Merry Go-Round Building first opened in 1916.
