Malibu Creek State Park offers free informative one-hour programs in the campground amphitheater on Saturday evenings this season. 

In July,  you'd have to be a cold-hearted snake not to love a visit with the Reptile Family!

May 11: Astronomy with Tim Russ - peer through telescopes and learn more about the night sky 

June 15: Chumash Culture: Chumash elder Dennis Garcia shares his culture through songs, stories, and a display of cultural items (7pm start)

July 6: Reptile Family  Learn about the twenty-five species of reptiles that live locally, including snakes, lizards and turtles. Event includes an opportunity to handle live reptiles.  (7pm start)

August 17: Wildlife Learning Center See some rare and exotic animals up close and learn about the work of the Wildlife Learning Center (7pm start)

Programs are free; no reservations needed. Programs are held on Saturdays starting at 7pm or 7:30pm
