The California African American Museum invites everyone to celebrate Kuumba, the Kwanzaa principle of creativity.

Jayon and Jon Kev share songs, puppetry, and exciting tales during an interactive story time.

Next, teaching artists from Able ARTS Work—a nonprofit organization that offers opportunities in the creative arts for people of all abilities—lead a zine workshop to inspire participants to display their own Kuumba spirit. (Feel free to bring your own images and materials from home to add to your Kwanzaa zine).

Participants are encouraged to bring something comfy to sit on for story time.
