Join marine invertebrate zoologist Dr. Keith Serafy for a nature walk through coastal habitats of salt marshes, bay beaches, and sand dunes.

He will describe the dominant species of plants and animals in each habitat and how they are well adapted to their environments. Ospreys will be nesting in the area and should have nestlings at this time. Also, there is a chance to see thousands of fiddler crabs feeding and preparing to mate in the salt marsh. Dr. Serafy will also share his knowledge about the edible plants and animals that are encountered during the walk. NOTE: Call for exact location of walk.
